Family hero Jagapathi Babu is turning villain in Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming untitled film directed by Boyapati Srinu. In fact, Jagapathi Babu earlier played supporting roles and cameo appearances in several films. He was seen in negative role in Vikram starrer 'Siva Thandavam', which was a dud. Now, for the first time in Telugu cinema, he is portraying a baddie. It is interesting move by the director. Jagapathi Babu has been running on rough patch and none of the producers are keen to make a film with him.
Balakrishna is playing a powerful role and story is said to be a political drama. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring music and reportedly offered a wonderful family song which has been shot recently on leading cast. Sonal Chauhan is playing second heroine and buzz is on Nayanatara considered for leading lady. 14 Reels entertainment is producing the flick which is targeted for release by the time of next general elections. Meanwhile, Jagapathi Babu is waiting for much delayed project ‘April Fool’ for a release.
